Volkl RTM 84 Skis with iPT Wideride 12.0 D Bindings 2012 - As the flagship ski in the Ride the Mountain series the RTM 84 is a powerful and precision ski for advanced to expert level skiers. With an 84mm waist the RTM 84 is primarily a frontside ski with great edge to edge quickness and a responsive shape with enough width to float in soft snow and bust through crud with ease. For power the RTM 84 takes the Sensorwood core from Volkl's race skis and combines it with Dual XTD Transmission Sidewall construction resulting in a ski that is very strong on edge with unwavering grip. On top of that Titanium is used to add in additional damping and rebound energy to give the ski a calm but poppy feel for a strong finish to carved turns and a playful feel in softer snow conditions. To maximize the versatility of slightly narrow 84mm waist the RTM 84 uses an ELP Full Rocker shape, a smooth gradual bend from tip to tail with zero camber and a matching sidecut. What ELP does is deliver smooth and graceful arcs because the more you tilt the RTM 84 on edge the more effective edge engages for a very connected feel with tremendous edge hold all while adding total maneuverability in soft snow thanks to a catch free tip and tail that will carve of smear in soft snow and crud.
